As a technology company we love to look forward to all the new exciting things happening in 2012 but as a business it’s important to reflect on the year that has passed. 2011 has been a great year for Wysi in many respects and we thank our clients for their support and custom. It’s been a year of growth and maturity which has allowed us to plan very positively for 2012. 2011 hasn’t been without its problems and new challenges but we’re very pleased to see we’ve risen to the challenges and are stronger as a result.
It’s very easy to ignore the good bits so I’d like to mention a few wins of 2011. We won Newbury Showground (NDAS) as a client back in April and they have recorded great results since having the new site. At the same time we also won a project with Chatham House (ECRAN) and worked closely with one of our partners to deliver that within 2 weeks! We aim to launch our full portfolio early next year to show all our other work

When browsing the internet day in day out, we always come across websites that really need to be introduced to 2011. So we came up with an idea: we are conducting free Wysi website M.O.T’s to show you any problems that may exist with your website and how they can be fixed.
If you’ve received an email from us you’re probably wondering why you haven’t passed your Wysi website M.O.T... Well here are some possible reasons:
1. Your website is outdated... on average a website has a life span of 2 and half years and it’s extremely important to stay ahead of the competition. Such as following trends and having a strong online presence.

Make 2011 a year of change and improvement; yes, you really can do it and it doesn't cost a fortune either.

But let's take a quick look. . . Your website is your shop window to the world. Does your shop window say 'CLOSED'? How easy is your website for people to navigate and find what they want? Pretty designs do not always make for easy use. Visit your own website and run a human usability check on it! If you're not sure, just ask us to take a look. It's free. How do you choose the right web development company or web designer (/business-websites/Graphic-Designers/graphic-design) for your needs?
Design v. Business
Anyone can design a website, right? Well, almost! But it's not about the design really, is it? It's all about the understanding. Not just boring stuff like HTML, CSS, AJAX, Javascript and all that - it's more about understanding business (/business-websites/business-websites-by-wysi).
Some questions to ponder
Here are some helpful questions to ask yourself (and your web developer) about your new project:-
What is the primary aim of the new website? (Attract more business (/business-websites/Social-Media/social-media-networking)?)
How is it going to be found? (SEO (/business-websites/Search-Engine-Optimisation/search-engine-optimization-experts), PPC (/business-websites/Internet-Marketing-Experts/web-marketing-consultants), other?)
What required fun
