SEM Global is a Global Brands promotion company with a very impressive portfolio of both work and clients. The list includes big players such as BMW, G4S, ITV, UEFA, and PUMA. It goes without saying that SEM needed a website to impress and that's exactly what Wysi delivered.

SEM's genres include motorsport, football, golf, tennis, rugby and athletics and their services include sponsorship, research and strategy, brand and digital, and logistic support.

Not dissimilar to Evolution Sport, SEM is about image with a big I. An impressive, engaging website was essential and the result has received much acclaim from visitors and customers alike.

Imagery is so important for web


We sometimes think we sound like a broken CD player but we cannot stress enough the importance of high quality, interesting imagery to engage and keep visitors on the site. No-one wants to spend time on a poorly designed, out-dated website with tiny, grainy images - that all went out with the advent of higher speed internet and fibre optic. Imagery is content: and we say content is king!

By working closely with SEM we were able to suggest a Siteglide layout that would allow us to show off the clientelle and the achievements of SEM. The result is a slick site that is quick to load, easy on the eye and a pleasure to look at.  

 

Sometimes Less is More


You won't find pages and pages of boring text content on SEM Global's new website: in this case less really is more. By keeping content mainly to imagery and wording to a minimum the site actually strengthens the SEM brand. 

Not all businesses can get away with minimalist content but in cases like Evolution Sport and SEM Global, we think it works a treat. 

Visitors can see, at a glance, which services are offered, who SEM have already worked for and will know whether they are interested in meeting up. For a non-transactional website, strong calls to action (get in touch) help convert visitors to leads.
