Why Mobile Websites Really Matter for Businesses. Mobile users come from all walks of life and are far too big an audience to ignore.

While the rest of the economy has been struggling, companies that have a strong online presence, or operate primarily online, have thrived over the last three years. According to 'The Evolution of Online Business', a recent report published by Barclays, online businesses have experienced an average of 11.4% compound annual growth since 2010. That is a rate of growth that is more than 50 times faster than the average for the UK as a whole. A lot of that growth has come from a relatively new sector - mobile internet.

Mobile devices do far more than just make calls and send text messages. Today, mobile devices are becoming increasingly popular as a primary means of accessing the internet. In fact, at the current rate of growth, mobile search volume will exceed desktop search volume by 2015.
